San Francisco Decorator Showcase Continued
Sorry I’m a bit late in posting this one! On to pictures of a few more rooms at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase.
Turning right and walking through the entrance hall we have the Music Room by Steve Henry and Michael Booth of BAMO.
There was sheet music strewn around the room and on the mantle in a sort of romantic way.
On the back of the first floor is the Kitchen and Butler’s Pantry by Steven Miller. That room is House Beautiful’s Kitchen of the Year and there are so many picture of it out there already. I just wanted to show you a couple of my favorite pics to give you an idea of what it looks like and to show you the views.
I think I could stand in this spot all day long.
Moving upstairs…
…And entering the Library, designed by Geoffrey De Sousa.
Views from the Library…
Moving out of the Library and down the hall into the Master Bathroom and Salon by Jaimie Belew.
I love the idea of putting shoes on display by placing acrylic boxes over them. It elevates shoes to art pieces. Love that.
And the Master Bathroom
Can’t you just imagine being bundled up in your robe after a shower and deciding to lie down for a while. Relaxing as the cool breeze kisses your skin… I feel more relaxed just thinking about it.
Tucked in the far corner of the second floor is a sweet little room named the Woman’s Office. It was designed by Laura Larkin who did an amazing job with the smallest office I’ve ever seen.
And after going through the second and third floors, we exited through the garden, designed by Living Green Design.
This pathway and final exit area was designed by Kate Webster and Thayer Hopkins of Katherine Webster MLA, INC. There were bits of broken mirros on the ground between the plants, reflecting and bouncing the light. It was enchanting.
There are so many rooms in this wonderful house, and it’s really fun to see them in person. If you are interested in going to the Decorator Showcase, here is a link to their website that has all the information.
ooox,
