Last Minute DIY Christmas Gifts
It happens almost every year. That dreaded moment when someone is approaching me with a present. The problem? I didn’t get anything for them. Maybe I forgot, maybe I thought they wouldn’t get anything for me. What about you? Did you run out of time to get presents for everyone? Did you just remember who you forgot to buy for and can’t think of anything worse than fighting the Christmas Eve crowds? Here are some ideas for last minute DIY gifts that won’t embarrass you.
These recipes for infused honeys and syrups look amazing, and I’m sure you probably have the ingredients in your pantry right now.
This recipe for chocolate hazelnut butter (aka healthier Nutella) from Green Kitchen Stories looks decadent and so easy to make. For an extra chocolaty hint, add some semi sweet chocolate chips to the food processor while you’re blending the whole thing together.
You could add some gourmet granola in a beautiful container to tie it all together.
Any of these items placed in a simple basket with some Mandarin oranges or even on their own and tied with a festive piece of ribbon would be a wonderful and gracious gift. The finishing touch? A beautiful (and freebee) gift tag from Jones Design Company.
